		Prime Minister 
		Dorin Recean Discussed the Government's Priorities with the Officials of 
		the International Monetary Fund
		
		Ensuring economic recovery, improving the management of public 
		investments and the regional situation were some of the topics discussed 
		at the meeting of Prime Minister Dorin Recean with the officials of the 
		International Monetary Fund (IMF) led by Alfred Kammer, Director of the 
		European Department of the IMF. 
		
		  
		
		Prime Minister Dorin Recean referred to the government's priorities with 
		regard to recovering the economy affected by the aftermath of the 
		Russian Federation's war against Ukraine and overcoming the energy 
		crisis, which led to high inflation. Short-term measures are aimed at 
		training civil servants to improve the budget planning and execution 
		process and the procurement procedures. 
		
		  
		
		The Head of Government reiterated the importance of strengthening the 
		rule of law and continuing reforms in justice, so as to create the 
		necessary conditions for business development, increase the investment
